Agila Series Chef’s Knife
Built for power, balance, and reliability, the Agila Series Chef’s Knife is designed to handle demanding kitchen and outdoor tasks with ease. Hand-forged in the Philippines, this heavy-duty knife exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship and durability—ideal for chopping meats, breaking down poultry, slicing through dense vegetables, or handling tough cuts of steak.
The blade is crafted from full-tang carbon leaf spring steel, a high-carbon material known for its superior hardness, toughness, and edge retention. This steel composition allows the knife to withstand significant pressure and maintain a razor-sharp edge even under rigorous use. However, as with all high-carbon blades, it is not rust-resistant and requires proper care—always dry thoroughly after washing and apply a light coat of oil periodically to protect the metal and preserve its luster.
Weighing approximately 353 g*, this knife offers substantial heft for enhanced chopping power while maintaining balanced handling. The Kamagong (Philippine Ebony) handle provides a naturally dense and durable grip that resists slippage and enhances control during extended use. Its full-tang construction ensures maximum strength and stability, making it a trusted companion for professional chefs and serious home cooks alike.
Each knife comes with a handcrafted wooden saya for safe storage and a refined presentation, embodying the perfect balance of performance, tradition, and artistry.
