KAIJU: AWAKENING continues ITAMAE’s Atelier Collector's Blades series with a focus on balance, precision, and restrained power.

Forged within ITAMAE’s Atelier, the Kaiju: Awakening represents evolution in both design and craftsmanship.

Each blade is clad in carbon-steel Damascus with an SK85 high-carbon-steel core, delivering hardness, durability, and a responsive cutting feel.

An S-grind geometry minimizes drag for smoother food release, while the acid-etched finish brings out the natural contrast of the layered Damascus pattern.

At just 2.5 mm thick at the spine, it achieves a confident rigidity without excess weight — ideal for both chefs and collectors.

Balanced, functional, and distinctly ITAMAE — this is a collector’s blade made to be used and admired.

Important Note:
Because of its high-carbon-steel core, this blade can rust if not cared for properly.
